常州，地处长江三角洲中心，历史悠久，人文荟萃，经济发达，景色秀丽。常州市规划设计院是国家建设部核准的国内首批甲级城市规划编制单位之一，目前还拥有甲级建筑工程设计、甲级工程咨询、甲级岩土工程勘察、乙级市政工程（道路、排水、风景园林）设计、丙级市政工程（桥隧、给水）设计等资质证书。
全院现有职工180人，国家注册城市规划师21名，国家一级注册建筑师8名，二级注册建筑师2名，一级注册结构工程师8名，注册土木工程师（岩土）4名，注册公用设备工程师(给水、排水)1名。高级职称人员40名(教授级4名)，中初级职称人员70名。具备区域规划、城市总体规划、分区规划、各类详细规划、城市设计、风景园林规划、市政管线综合规划和市政工程设计、建筑设计、岩土工程勘察等较为全面的业务能力。
我院以“精心设计、诚信服务、科学管理、止于至善”为宗旨，全面贯彻GB/T19001-2000—ISO9001：2000标准，于2003年12月5日获北京中设质量体系认证中心质量管理体系认证证书。规划设计足迹遍及全国各地,设计成果获得国家、部省级嘉奖30多项。2000年起先后获“全国CAD应用工程示范企业”、“江苏省工程咨询AAA级信誉单位”、 “中国优秀景观设计机构”以及 “江苏省质量管理优秀企业” 称号。

Changzhou is located in the center of the Yangtze River Delta. It has a long history and has brought forth many renowned personalities. It features developed economy and picturesque views. Changzhou Urban Planning & Design Institute is among the first Grade A compilers of urban planning in our country approved by the National Construction Ministry. It is also qualified for the following jobs: Grade A architectural design, civil project consultation, geotechnical engineering survey; design of Grade B municipal engineering projects (covering roads, drainage, landscape and garden); and design of Grade C municipal engineering projects (covering water supply, bridges and tunnels).
Our Institute employs 138 professionals right now, including 23 registered city planners; 10 registered Grade A architects, 4 registered Grade B architects,7 registered Grade A structural engineers, 3 registered civil engineers (geotechnical), and 1 registered public facility engineer. There are 43 engineering personnel with senior professional titles (including 4 of professor level) and 48 engineering personnel with junior & medium professional titles. It has full capacity for all professional fields, covering regional planning, city master plans, district planning, all kinds of detailed planning, urban design, landscape & green planning, comprehensive design of urban pipelines and design of municipal engineering projects, architectural design and geotechnical engineering survey.
Our institute aims at “Elaborate design, sincere services, scientific management and the best results”. By implementing the standards of GB/T19001-2000 and ISO9001:2000, it acquired the certificate of quality management system issued by the Beijing Zhongshe QMS Authentication Center. Its planning and design work can be seen in every part of the country. It has won more than 30 awards of national, ministerial or provincial levels for its achievements in designing. Since the year 2000, we have acquired the following titles: “National Model Enterprise in CAD Application”, “AAA Credit for Civil Project Consultation in Jiangsu Province”, “Excellent Scenery Designer in China” and “Excellent Quality Management Enterprise in Jiangsu Province”, etc.
